**Resident Engagement & Partnerships Officer**

**Join our Customer Services team as a Resident Engagement & Partnerships Officer**
Our Customer Services teams play a central role in achieving our vision. Our teams include our Customer Contact Centre and specialist teams like income collection, rent and service charges and resident management. **The role**
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Resident Engagement & Partnerships Officer.
**Salary**: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum.
**Location**: Predominantly based in West London and around Windsor/Maidenhead. There will be an expectation to be in the office in Camden one or two days a week as a minimum (based on weekly priorities) and in the community for another one or two days and working from home for the remaining day(s).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating, developing, supporting and delivering engagement projects to residents in the community.
- Implementing and monitoring the impact of the Resident Engagement activities.
- Providing focus on implementation and monitoring of a menu of options for resident engagement, supporting and building relationships with the residents who are taking part in activities.
- Working closely with residents, external stakeholders and other departments within One Housing to deliver the corporate plan and operational targets.
- Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of resident engagement issues understanding how to deliver services across all tenures.
- Engaging with, guide and support residents; ensure services reflect residents’ needs and resident involvement through regular reporting to other teams.
**What you will need to succeed**

- Experience of providing and developing high quality, customer focused, value for money services and programmes that involve and empower customers to contribute to and scrutinise services and develop their communities.
- Experience of successfully working with front line operational services in particular in leading and managing resident or customer consultation and focus groups.
- A real understanding of how to gather resident’s needs and be keen and skilled at developing a positive rapport with tenants, tenant’s representatives, stakeholders and partners.
- A confident approach, handling all types of contact and relationships with ease and being able to remain calm under pressure, inspiring confidence in your ability and demonstrating commitment to excellent partnership working.
- A ‘can-do’ attitude and solutions-driven, innovative approach that has successfully modernised services.
