Job Description:

We have an excellent permanent Technology Lead for Digital Learning job opportunity.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualifications) plus substantial work experience in a relevant technical/scientific and/or management/supervisory role in a specialist area, plus higher degree where appropriate.
  • Authoritative and advanced technical expertise in a relevant technical, professional or functional specialism.
  • A passion and knowledge for the EdTech sector
  • Experience within the education sector with a strong digital userfocus.
  • An understanding of the relevant learning technologies and associated product development practices.
  • Previous experience of making tools/product decisions and creating a compelling vision based on research, usage data, or predictions of either.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and work with them to understand, clarify and define their needs into practical, deliverable solutions.
  • Experience of development and product lifecycle management including an understanding of agile methodology.
  • Ability to make a compelling and fully costed business case and deliver within the agreed budget parameters.
  • Ability to understand and prioritise the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Experience of managing commercial and contractual relationships with third party suppliers.
  • Experience of agile working within a productbased environment.
  • Team leadership and management of small delivery and support teams.
  • Demonstrable professional development through a series of progressively more demanding and influential work roles.
  • Experience of championing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in own work area.
