Join our dynamic Fostering team in empowering Foster Carers to make meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people


You'll work alongside the Deputy Team Manager and Team Manager to provide high quality fostering resources, recruit, assess, supervise, train and support foster carers in their placements.

Throughout this role, you'll embrace our LBC values, qualities and standards to deliver a professional service that enhances outcomes and experiences for children and youth in foster care.


You'll work within legislative frameworks, safeguarding practices and child protection regulations to ensure effective and impactful results for all involved.

About you:


We need someone with post qualifying experience including in-depth knowledge in the field of fostering and experience in the field of child and family social work.

You'll have excellent organisational, time management and administrative skills and the ability to work to complex and conflicting demands.


We are looking for someone with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, staff and the public with strong communications skills as you'll need to negotiate and influence others.


Throughout this role, you'll utilise your existing knowledge of current legislation, national guidance and best practice relevant to the post, as well as your in-depth knowledge of social care needs of children and families.

We do ask that you have education to relevant professional qualification, e.g. DipSW, CSS, CQSW and are registered with Social Work England.
