We currently have a position for a Band 3 Imaging Co-ordinator position within the Ultrasound Bookings Team. This role will involve working closely with Radiologists, Radiographers, Bookings Team and most importantly, liaising with patients.

The main purpose of this role is to work closely with the Modality Team Leader and Booking + Reception Manager to coordinate the bookings of Ultrasound outpatient appointments in a very busy Imaging Department.


We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals, with excellent interpersonal skills who can work well with all grades of staff.

Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount.

The post holders will communicate directly with patients, clinical teams and support services.

They will have extensive clerical experience within an appointment booking environment and experience of using a variety of IT systems e.g., RIS, Oceano and Clinical Portal.


The department delivers a 7-day service, and it is therefore necessary for staff to work flexibly, including weekend work on a rotation basis.
