KEY OBJECTIVES:

  • Support the Team Manager/Team Leader to ensure best practice within the Roadshow Team by following and adhering to the GS account SLA (Service Level Agreement) is adopted and maintained at all times;
  • Ensure that all Goldman Sachs policies and procedures, legal and compliance requirements as they relate to roadshow project management are adhered to at all times;
  • Delivery of consistent service excellence across multiple clients relationships, and assigned projects at all times;
  • Support of other team members with assigned responsibility for specific components of complex larger Roadshow assignments;
  • For assigned Roadshow projects where you require support, you are required to communicate clearly the resource requirements both precisely and in advance to ensure the Team Manager/Team Leader or GS Desk Manager is able to allocate available colleagues;

ROADSHOW OPERATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of complex IBD Deal Roadshows for the Japanese desk with multiple management teams travelling across multiple regions;
  • Work in conjunction with Securities Division sales teams and Capital Markets to arrange a daily marketing schedule for equity and debt clients. Coordinate meeting times and advising on feasibility based upon travel, investor demand and client availability;
  • Maintaining close contact with senior members of Corporate Clients' management teams in the run up to the roadshow and whilst traveling, exemplifying the firm's principles and standards at all times;
  • Book hotels, ground and air transportation as well as selecting and booking venues for the group events;
  • Updating schedules in the firm's systems and distributing to clients and banking partners daily;
  • Coordination between sales and banking to ensure any changes to schedules are updated;
  • Providing local support for roadshows from Asia and Americas whilst traveling in EMEA;
  • Managing expenses associated with Roadshows;
  • Build excellent relations with clients through positive, precise, clear verbal and written communications;
  • Working closely with creative services and Lanyon to manage online registration process;
  • Management of all audio visual requirements including audio dialing;
  • Management of all venue/supplier logistics including food and beverage requirements (BEO's);
  • Post Roadshow final budget spend, attendance reporting and client operational debrief;
  • Attendance at industry events;
  • Contribute to the creation and deepening of a knowledge bank of venues, hotels, destinations and services that ensures FP team at GS are providing expert advice and recommendations to clients;
  • Consistent and timely submission of expenses and time sheets;
  • Consistent demonstration of effective time management on all assigned projects;
  • Maintaining and updating team's directories for hotel sales, reception, concierge and account services contacts;
  • Responsible for the planning of multiple Non
  • Deal Roadshows, where required;
  • Assist in induction of new joiners as assigned by Team Manager/Team Leader.

ADMINISTRATION & GENERAL

  • Be forward thinking in your planning and work intelligently to ensure that the Team Manager/Team Leader is aware of problems or issues which may negatively affect productivity in a timely manner;
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and efficiency by assisting others in the team to streamline communications and administration to work smarter;
  • Contribute to the SLA by researching or proposing smarter working practices and tools;
  • Assume responsibility for your own environment and set an example in adherence to health and safety policies, maintenance of clean smart surroundings both on site and in the office;
  • Build excellent relations with colleagues through positive and constructive communications;
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of all FP's & GS policies and procedures;
  • Attend event industry events when appropriate and without impact to assigned tasks;
  • Ensure that your personal presentation and dress reflects the GS environment and standards;

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Strong roadshow management, project planning, and negotiation skills;
  • Japanese speaking
  • Financial Services Industry experience preferred;
