Job Title: Head of Transition and Projects

Are you an experienced Head of Projects or Service Delivery looking for a new challenge? This exciting opportunity with a large plc involves managing a team of project managers and technical consultants to implement a service delivery methodology within a rapidly expanding business unit. Your role will require excellent communication skills, collaboration with stakeholders, and the ability to meet delivery deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

As the leader of the service delivery team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering internal and client projects, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and being the primary contact for project delivery and transition services within the organization. This senior role reports directly to a senior director, focusing on the development and implementation of a customer service-focused project management methodology.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Practical and theoretical understanding of project management best practices
  • Professionally qualified in Prince 2 and MSP
  • Degree level education
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Commercial background
  • Experience in managing projects of varying complexity and value

Experience:

  • Experience in business process outsourcing, business services, or customer communication management
  • Previous experience managing project manager teams
  • Minimum of 5 years leading service delivery and commercial projects
  • Experience in establishing a new PMO
