As a Transition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our continuous pursuit of service excellence within the workplace.
***
Your primary responsibility will be to lead and influence the delivery of our global ONEISS Transition Process Model (TPM) to operationalise our UK contracts.
***
Working closely with key stakeholders from both ISS and our clients, you will spearhead the development and implementation of our Win/Keep/Grow mobilisation program.
***
This entails project management and coordination across various functional workstreams, ensuring seamless transition from bid to operations.
***
In this role, you will need to exhibit flexibility, critical thinking, and adept prioritisation skills.
***
Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, allowing you to leverage and develop your full skill set.
***
As a Transition Specialist, you will have strategic oversight and accountability for the management of one or more programs. Operating within a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment, you will establish yourself as a senior leader and authoritative figure within your assigned programs.
***
Your role will involve coordinating multiple teams and resources, setting and upholding program standards, and providing transparent and effective communication on progress. By ensuring alignment and driving successful outcomes, you will contribute significantly to our organisational objectives and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Actively engaged in the Bid to Operations Win / Keep / Grow pipeline programme, working with Commercial, Operations Performance and Operations colleagues*:

  • Key decision maker accountable for the project management, effective delegation and co
  • ordination across functional and operational workstreams to deliver successful contract mobilisations*:

  • Transition lead SME for all project-level due diligence process and data analysis, to ensure the commercial and contract deliverables are assessed for validation during mobilisation*:

Responsible for ensuring contractual deliverables, critical path activities and any obligations made a bid stage are accurately captured and reported in each Project Plan and RAID*:


  • Confidently chair and present meetings at all levels across the governance framework, ensuring each meeting is carefully prepared, planned and reported*:

Challenge the status quo and take corrective and preventative actions when needed, act as a sounding board for ideas and approaches to solving project issues, actively seeking out information from internal and external stakeholders*:


  • Line management responsibility for a cross section of roles within the Transition team function to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the individuals

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Educated to at least degree level or appropriate professional accreditation (PMP, Prince2 Practitioner or equivalent)*:

  • Proven Programme or Project Management experience, preferably in the FM industry*:

  • Demonstrable understanding of commercial contracts*:

Strong data analysis, report design and presentation skills*:


  • Computer literate (MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint)
