Service Designer Service Transition Run Cost Modelling Agile ITSM ITIL

My client is a major Insurance Company who urgently require a Service Designer with strong working knowledge of Agile ways of working, alongside good knowledge of Run Cost Modelling (understanding people cost and hardware spend etc) to join a business-criticalfunction ASAP.

In this role you will get to work in an award-winning, small, close-knit Specialist Service Design Team who will work with internal projects, teams and stakeholders on a Product aligned Operating Model with an Agile and DevOps approach.

The environment willbe structured and heavily regulated. You'll work closely with Service focused PMs and Service Transition, working on numerous Agile iterative projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven Service Design / Service Transition expertise
  • Working knowledge of Agile approaches to Service Design processes
  • Experience of working to Product aligned Operating Models
  • Excellent working knowledge of Run Cost Modelling (understanding people cost and hardware spend etc)
  • Working knowledge of ITSM tools (ServiceNow / Remedy etc)
  • Previous experience of working in a structured and heavily Regulated environment
  • Strong communication skills and a cando attitude

Nice to have:

  • ITIL certification
  • Experience of working on multiple iterative projects of work at any one time
  • Working knowledge of DevOps approaches to Service Design processes
  • Immediate availability
  • Flexible approach to hybrid working (occasional travel onsite for purpose led activity)
  • Previous Insurance / InsurTech / FinTech / Financial Services industry experience
