What you'll be responsible for:

  • Will be responsible daytoday management of the duty rosters.
  • Will support the rota manager with submission of timesheets, vacancy processes, escalations and rota management.
  • Act as a first point of contact to junior doctors to provide nonclinical advice and escalating and leave, sickness, absences to rota manager.
  • To ensure the smooth running of services by ensuring services are well staffed.
  • Support the administration team when covering for absences and allocating the workload in order to provide a consistently high level of service.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Previous NHS experience. (Desirable)
  • Previous EPR Experience. (Desirable)
