Job Overview


As a Corporate Receptionist you will be the first person a visitor meets or speaks to on the telephone, therefore your primary role will be to make that all important excellent first impression by demonstrating a high level of customer care, professionalism and engagement as well as vetting the guests who enter and managing according to the building procedure.

You will be responsible for creating a positive experience for each visitor as well as assisting with the visitors for the building occupiers.


Main Duties

  • To provide exceptional levels of customer service
  • To act as a meet and greet in the main reception
  • To ensure all visitors are recorded onto site and issue Security passes to external guests
  • Ability to identify and escalate building maintenance issues/hazard perception
  • Raise work requests through the Maximo system
  • Manage bookings for visitor car parking spaces for the facility
  • To support the review of procedures and processes
  • To put forward any suggestions/initiatives
  • Production of detailed site utilisation statistics
  • To ensure you are immaculately dressed in uniform and adhere to Client and Signature grooming standards.
  • To portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanor at all times, using open and appropriate body language
  • To be articulate and preempt the needs of clients and visitors.
  • To effectively deliver to all guests, Health and Safety and building information as necessary including evacuation procedure upon arrival
  • To communicate effectively with other departments and neighbouring Mitie sites.
  • To communicate professionally with staff and the client, providing a 5* level of service at all times
  • To be responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of your allocated area including any filing and next shift preparation
  • If required, to be the main point of contact within the building, answering/referring all requests and queries in an appropriate and timely manner
  • To provide support with Adhoc customer event related tasks as guided by the Rolls-Royce team
  • To actively complete daily checklists ensuring quality of service and standards pertaining to the presentation and maintenance of public areas

  • Excellent Microsoft skills in Word, Excel and Outlook, (2010 version is desirable) IT literate (essential).
  • Speed Typing (Desirable).
  • Innovation Concepts and forward thinking.
  • Previous Experience with a Front of House Management system (Multibadge, Elvis, Cabbs, Vicinitee).
