Company The market leader for gutter and roof refurbishment within the commercial and industrial sector, which has grown significantly in the past 5 years. To support their planned sales growth, they are recruiting an additional Technical Services Manager to join the existing technical team. The role is a senior level appointment within the organisation and will make a significant contribution to the continued expansion of the business. Responsibilities You will be responsible for managing site-based activity within the region, managing projects from the initial survey through to installation and project sign off.
  • Act as a regional ambassador for the business, supporting all field based Approved Contractor and Specifier led projects.
  • Undertake site surveys, gutter lining design, condition reporting and gutter calculations to support specification generation and quotations by the sales team.
  • Manage and develop contractor relationships, providing regular phone, site and technical support.
  • Work alongside your dedicated Business Development Manager to maximise business opportunity within the Southern region.
Ideal Candidate
  • You will have previous hands-on product installation experience within a roofing environment
  • Product experience including gutter linings, cut edge corrosion systems, roof coatings, roof lights and fixings would be beneficial.
  • Basic flat roofing knowledge is ideal.
  • IT literate
  • Clean UK driving licence.
  • Comfortable with driving long journeys
  • Comfortable with spending the occasional night away from home as required.
  • A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
