What will your duties and responsibilities be?

  • Cleaning in all rooms and corridors including mopping, vacuum cleaning and dusting.
  • Ensure kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times under Health and Safety regulations.
  • Ensure all hard floors are cleaned and kept safe using the appropriate non slip cleaning fluids.
  • Clean low level glass and window areas.
  • Clean and tidy bathrooms and toilets, keep supplied with paper towels and toilet rolls.
  • Empty bins and remove rubbish.
  • Wash towels, tea towels etc.
  • Ensure that security is maintained.
  • Maintain a list of cleaning materials as necessary.
  • Adhere to COSHH regulations.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties by request of the line manager.

What skills and experience do you need to apply?

You must have:

  • Experience of general cleaning
  • A commitment to achieving a high standard of cleanliness
  • The ability to work on own initiative
  • A high level of confidentiality and integrity
  • A good interpersonal skills to communicate with a range of people
  • A good understanding of basic Health and Safety Regulations, including COSHH
