Role Summary:
We have an exciting role to join our Branch Merchandising team as an
Allocator on a
6-month fixed term contract.
This is a great opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic graduate with retail experience looking to join a fast-paced growing business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain stock data accuracy and integrity to ensure accurate sales reporting and analysis.
- Ensure team reports are regularly updated and accurate.
- Execute the release of initial product allocations and maintain replenishment to stores.
- Understand business stock holding and recommend stock moves to optimise sales across all channels.
- Review underperforming styles at store level and work with the retail team to improve product performance.
- Work closely with the product merch team to drive category performance in John Lewis.
- Generate warehouse orders and check packing lists for store deliveries, liaising with the distribution centre throughout the process.
- Communicate transfer requests to stores and action relevant stock movements in the system.
- Ensure new season stock launches smoothly, collating product information in a timely manner.
- Collate smart sheet data and maintain imagery uploads for John Lewis.
- Conduct regular web checks & liaise with the relevant John Lewis teams to implement changes.
- Understand opportunities and risks at both product and store level, making recommendations to maximise sales and stock levels.
- Maintain close relationships with the retail team to discuss stock, delivery information and answer queries.
- Undertaking ad hoc tasks & analysis to help support the team.
