About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Distributor/Allocator to join our International Supply Chain team at WHSmith. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient distribution and allocation of products across our stores and distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage purchase orders to maintain optimal stock levels and meet customer demand.
  • Monitor and control stock levels across multiple ranges, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize inventory management.
  • Liaise with suppliers and distribution centers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Provide analytical support to inform business decisions, including data analysis and reporting.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in a stock management or allocation-focused role, or a merchandising assistant/administrator role.
