About the Role

The Distributor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, allocating stock to the right locations in a timely manner and managing the flow of goods to our distribution centers and stores to deliver optimal availability, sales, and profit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock Allocation: Calculate and create purchase orders to ensure the right stock is allocated to the right location.
  • Supplier Forecasting: Analyze data to forecast supplier needs and optimize stock levels.
  • DC Replenishment: Manage the flow of stock to our distribution centers and stores to maintain optimal levels.
  • Stock Management: Monitor and manage stock levels across our network to ensure maximum availability and sales.
  • Supplier Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Stock Intake Management: Manage the intake of stock to achieve month-end targets and maintain optimal availability and fulfillment levels.
Requirements
  • Intermediate Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel is essential for this role.
  • Numerical Skills: Strong numerical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data.
  • Administrative Skills: Excellent administrative and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills, time management, and prioritization.
