Distribution Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Distribution Compliance Specialist to join our team at Janus Henderson. As a key member of our compliance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our distribution activities are conducted in accordance with all relevant rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance Advice and Oversight: Provide expert compliance advice and oversight to our distribution teams, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
- Regulatory Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory risks associated with our distribution activities, including cross-border distribution and product distribution.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that our distribution teams have the necessary knowledge and skills to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Represent compliance interests with internal and external stakeholders, including distribution partners and regulatory bodies.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical expertise in key regulatory issues and rule areas impacting our distribution activities, including systems and controls rules, conflicts of interest, financial promotions and private placement rules, inducements, TCF, UCITS and AIFMD, cross-border distribution, and SFDR.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent compliance interests to internal and external stakeholders.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in multiple teams and leverage internal and external networks.
- Language Skills: Fluency in German and English (written and oral).
