We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Distributor/Allocator to join our International Supply Chain team at WHSmith. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient distribution and allocation of products across our stores and distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Create and calculate purchase orders, manage stock levels, and replenish stock as needed.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and distribution centers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Stock Control: Monitor stock availability, fulfill orders, and manage stock problems and price overrides.
- Analysis and Reporting: Provide ad-hoc analysis and regular reporting to support business decisions.
- Education: Degree level with a 2:1 or higher in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in a stock management or merchandising role.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent Excel skills, and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience: Previous experience in a stock management or merchandising role, or equivalent experience in a related field.
