We're looking for someone with a passion for all things digital to work in our Marketing and Communications team in Wales. You'll help to create content for National Trust Cymru's website and social media channels, helping to raise awareness of the places that we care for and our cause.

This is a part-time (2 days a week), fixed-term role and an exciting internal opportunity to gain experience working across our national digital channels in Wales.

Welsh language skills will be beneficial in this role (see attached document for details). Further support will be provided for continued development of Welsh language skills. Please complete the attached Welsh Language Competency Assessment and upload this alongside your CV and covering letter.

As this role covers the whole of Wales, your contractual place of work will be the nearest National Trust consultancy office to your home. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other National Trust places. What you'll be doing

Working within Wales' Communications and Marketing Team, you'll develop engaging content for National Trust Cymru's digital channels to help raise awareness of our places, conservation work and cause.

You will support with the day-to-day management of our social media channels and play a key role in the planning, creation and evaluation of exciting content for our Instagram, Facebook and X (Twitter) accounts.

You will also create engaging copy for our Wales webpages, identifying opportunities to develop rich content that connects audiences with National Trust Cymru's work and our visitor offer.

You'll also be well-versed in bilingual ways of working and have a good understanding of the approach, its importance and what good bilingual content looks like.

This role will work closely with our Assistant Communications and Marketing Consultants to coordinate digital activity.

Who we're looking for

• Practical experience in a communications and marketing role or in some aspects of communications and marketing.

• Understanding and experience of using digital channels.

• Experience of creating content in line with brand guidelines and standards.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written which should include copywriting and proof-reading.

• Well organised, with the ability to work at pace, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

• Understanding of working in a bilingual context and working with bilingual content.
