Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and empathetic Pharmacy Technician to join our Central Pharmacy Primary Care Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and wellbeing of older adults by taking a person-centred approach, contributing to high-quality care that prioritises comprehensive and appropriate medication management.

Main Duties
  • Perform a wide variety of routine and non-routine duties in relation to the preparation and supply of medicines and related products for service users within the Health Board.
  • Exercise a degree of autonomy and control in the performance of allocated duties within limits set by the Chief Pharmacy Technician and in accordance with departmental and Health Board policies and procedures.
  • Work under the management of the Senior Pharmacy Technician and ward pharmacist in area of work to ensure a safe and efficient service is maintained, delivering a range of medicines management activities including medicines reconciliation and medicines history taking.
