Job Purpose

As a Relationship Manager, your responsibility is to nurture existing customer relationships, establish new connections with potential clients, promote the Bank's services and products, and advocate suitable real estate investments in alignment with the Bank's lending policy.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • To promote the Bank's Private Banking services and products to existing and potential customers following the agreed marketing strategies and plans with the Head of Department.
  • Enhance and cultivate business relationships between the bank and its High Net Worth and VIP customers to either expand current business or attract new business, thereby bolstering the Bank's deposits and loans portfolio.
  • Identify new commercial and residential investment opportunities in the UK real estate market presented to the bank, for potential offering to customers.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive credit applications for approval in residential or commercial property purchases, managing their execution in accordance with the bank's Credit Policy for customers seeking loans from the bank. Oversee the post-sanction facility implementation process, including obtaining necessary documentation and conducting due diligence.

  • Coordinate with approved solicitors and surveyors regarding customer transactions initiated through the Bank.
  • Regularly update customers on their fund status, market conditions, trends, and opportunities. Ensure timely responsiveness to customer requests for information, advice, and action.
  • Ensure utmost confidentiality of customers' information, adhering to information security protocols, and complying with legal/statutory requirements for safeguarding information.
  • Maintain accurate and updated individual customer records, ensure annual customer file reviews in line with the Bank's KYC requirements, and comply with Money Laundering regulations.
  • Gather and analyze data on competitors, products, services, and market activities, and provide insights to the Head of Department.
  • Prepare essential information for the Division's Business Plan and Marketing Strategy.
  • Secure the Department's vault cash following audit recommendations and Bank's policies.
  • Prepare and deliver regular and special reports to departmental management accurately and punctually.
  • Collaborate with approved solicitors and surveyors on matters concerning customer transactions through the Bank.
  • Assist customers in transferring funds and portfolios between foreign banks, address banking issues, and safeguard the Bank's interests in Credit, Compliance, and legal matters.
