JBT currently has a great opportunity for a Accounts Receivable clerk to join the Proseal UK team.
Proseal is a company that designs and manufactures high quality tray sealing and conveying systems for the food industry and has manufacturing facilities in the UK, North America and Australia.
Having been established for over 20 years, Proseal has not only become the leading manufacturer of tray sealing machinery and tooling in the UK but is now also recognised as a major force internationally.
Shift Pattern/Working Hours:
Monday to Friday.
A 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two paid 15-minute breaks per day (40 hours per week).
Hybrid Working (3 Days Office, 2 Days Home) available after completion of satisfactory probation period.
Responsibilities:
Main Purpose of Job:
Ensure prompt and accurate invoicing to agreed timings along with the collection of all monies due in line with Customer payment terms.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Daily processing of customer invoices and credit notes
- Posting of customer receipts
- Chasing customers for payment
- Management of rental database and invoicing processing
- Daily communications with internal teams relating to order statuses
- Ensuring any overdue debt issues are communicated effectively to aid resolution
- Monthly Debt reporting and meetings
- Dealing with customer queries
- Customer setup and credit checks where necessary
- Other Ad hoc/project related work
Person Specification
- Comfortable dealing with a broad portfolio of customers across the world
- Enjoys being part of a team and working with other departments
- Ability to be flexible in approach
- Comfortable working to tight period and quarter end deadlines
- Organised
- Can manage competing demands
- Keen to participate in projects should the opportunity arise

- Accounts Receivable experience
- Experience in a manufacturing business
- Sage 200
- Excel proficiency
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- AAT/Bookkeeping qualification desirable
