The Income Assessment Officers are responsible for collecting financial information and calculating the assessed charge, for adults who receive domiciliary services or a care need for residential or nursing placements.

Duties will include the data collection of financial information from the Service User or their representative, at an agreeable venue, which could be their home, the hospital or a care establishment and the completion and entering of the financial information into the relevant database.

You will need to good level of education and be able to demonstrate experience of office procedures.

You should also have a sound financial background, as you will be required to interpret and operate within strict financial regulations.

Experience of income collection systems, charging service users and the benefits system would be desirable.

You should also possess excellent interpersonal skills and experience of computer software packages such as Excel and Word is essential.


The position is regarded as agile and access to a vehicle and a full driving licence is required for this role.

Interviews will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams/Zoom.
