The post holder will be part of the Community Respiratory Nursing Team providing a comprehensive and holistic service for patients with a confirmed diagnosis of respiratory disease. The role requires the post holder to work in a variety of settings, including clinics and the patients home.

This is a dynamic post that requires the post holder to work closely with the multi-disciplinary teams / agencies in addressing a range of complex care / issues across the spectrum of Respiratory Disease management preventing unnecessary hospital admissions and improving the health and wellbeing of the population served. The nature of the service will be determined by local service specifications.

The post holder will be expected to demonstrate Trust Values at all times and demonstrate initiative and creativity towards problem solving. Person Specification Qualifications & Training Essential
  • Degree in nursing or equivalent
  • Registration with NMC
  • Post Graduate studies in relevant nursing field such as respiratory disease management, end of life care, long term conditions/palliative care or related/relevant subject
