Main Responsibilities
  • Provide support to specialist areas within Centralised Outpatients, promoting patient-centered care and aligning with the Trust's vision and Nursing and Midwifery strategy.
  • Complete specific competencies to support specialist clinics, ensuring the post holder has the appropriate level of skill, knowledge, and competence to meet the service/specialty requirements.
  • Develop professionally to maintain competence, participating in programmes of in-service training as required.
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment in line with IPC requirements, ensuring effective communication with patients, carers, relatives, and staff.

  • Essential qualifications: NVQ 3 or equivalent in health care related subject, Care Certificate.

  • Desirable experience: Outpatient experience, experience within a specialty e.g. Respiratory, Women's health, ENT or other, health promotion experience.
  • Essential skills: Organisational skills, IT competencies, ability to manage challenging situations, excellent communication skills.
  • Desirable skills: Leadership skills.
