The Demand Planning Manager supports the commercial planning team to create one set of constrained demand plan for the next 12 months with supply information from the logistics/supply team within the operations.

The Demand Planning Manager constructively challenges sales/marketing/finance to achieve accurate and robust forecasts. With the forecasts, the Demand Planning Manager will co-ordinate and support supply/logistics and CS to achieve the right levels of stocks at the right time as well as a high level of on-time in full.

Also, the Demand Planning Manager will represent operations in various internal and external meetings in term of supply and demand.

Forecasting


• Assisting and working with commercial planning/sales/marketing, Create accurate and robust rolling next 12 months demand plan at different aggregate levels with the input of supply and logistics constraint.


• Create a detailed and accurate promotional event and free bottle plans.


• Create and new/old SKU transition plan.


• Create POSM plan and its forecasts in conjunction with sustainability team and marketing.


• Create and measure forecast accuracy error, including bias Input consensus demand forecast at SKU level into SAP as per monthly cycle, co-ordinated by Moet Hennessy Europe.

Co-ordination/Communication


• Demand forecasts are communicated to supply/logistics/customer service with assumptions and risks to balance the demand with supply to have an optimal stock holding (4 to 6 weeks) and a high level of OTIF (98%).


• Working with logistics/supply, any supply constraints are communicated in a timely manner to commercial planning/sales/marketing to influence and control demand.


• Working with logistics/supply, assist in creating and balancing capacity at 3PL.


• Assist in the resolution of issues involving order promising with allocation and prioritization.


• Participate in internal meetings to represent operations in terms of supply.

Daily Contacts and Collaboration


• Daily contacts for OOS short, mid, and long-term collaboration with major customers.


• Working with major customers, promotional events, new/old SKU transition are planned and executed flawlessly.

Optimization


• Assist customer service and logistics/supply to formulate CS objectives, inventory target, backlog/lead-time target, and time-fence for managing change.


• Reduce POSM obsolescence to a minimum.
