As a Senior Affiliate Account Director, you willlead a team of channel experts, comprising Account Directors and adelivery team of Executives who carry out a variety of tasks on theteam's accounts. They are responsible for setting the higheststandards in the company, particularly with client happiness,retention and strategy. Critical thinking, improvisation andimagination are paramount to the success of our Senior AccountDirectors.

Utilising your experience and position as SeniorAccount Director you will work on a portfolio of our top tier clientswhich include national and international household brands. You will beresponsible for the day-to-day management of your team and will focuson delivering the best service for your clients.

As a leader,your team will look to you for inspiration and support, you willalways be pushing to create a high performance team with a focus ondeveloping your people. Strong collaborative and communication skillswill serve you effectively in this endeavour as well as instilling asense of ownership and responsibility in the team, particularly whenit comes to your client portfolios.

Key duties& responsibilities

Client Portfolio Ownership

  • Nurture and own the relationship with yourportfolio of clients.
  • Track and own the movement of financesand resources.
  • Deliver amazing communication to yourclients.
  • Understand the client's business and needs.
  • Deliver a particularly amazing onboarding experience for newclients.
  • Work with the Customer Success team to ensureclient contracts and renewals are properly addressed.
  • Ensureno client exits the service for reasons within your control. Such asaccount performance, communication and service delivery.

Partnerships

  • Open doors,execute partner onboarding and work with partners and our partnershipsteam to deliver on partner's needs so that your clients can achievetheir objectives;
  • This may mean attending events,
  • Speaking and presenting at events,
  • Attending client andpartner meetings,
  • Working with your executives to ensurecommunication is accurate, professional and timely with partners,
  • Analysing GAP analysis' to identify recruitmentopportunities,
  • Negotiating between all parties to achieveresults.

Client Satisfaction

  • Regularly ask your clients how they feel about theservice, report on feedback and create plans of action.
  • Proactively identify possible areas for concern and presentsolutions.
  • Work with our sales teams to ensure servicedelivery is accurate during the sales process.

Management Responsibilities

  • Instil all of the above qualities and responsibilities in yourteam of junior Account Directors and Executives.
  • The aim isto create a culture of performance through skill, ownership andproactivity.
  • You will set the bar for what amazing lookslike at Visualsoft.
  • Conduct regular 1 to 1's with your teamusing the provided documentation.
  • Manage holiday requeststhrough our HR system for your team.
  • Carry out reviews inaccordance with the company policy.
  • Tackle underperformancehead on with coaching, mentorship, understanding and a drive to getthe best from your team;
  • This may include 1 to 1 coaching,
  • External training,
  • Regular catch ups,
  • Changes in workload and job role,
  • Or performancemanagement in more extreme cases.
  • Report back to theDepartment Head on any needs for your team.

Requirements

To be considered forthis role you must have adequate experience within the affiliatemarketing industry. This experience must include exceptionalcommunication and organisational skills and an expert-level knowledgeof the industry. You should consider yourself the 'go to' person foraffiliate marketing.

Line management experience is notessential but is a bonus; all Visualsoft line managers are enrolled inour internal manager training programme to help you achieve yourgoals.

Working with a team of experts, a large portfolio ofclients and within a fast-paced environment isn't for everyone. Youshould thrive in the agency world and have a burning passion toprogress your career and deliver for your clients while alwaysadapting and challenging the status quo of the industry.

Essential

  • Extensive experienceeither agency or client side in affiliate marketing.
  • Ademonstrable knowledge of the various affiliate networks andtechnologies.
  • Including Google Analytics.
  • Theability to craft, manage and deliver on bespoke affiliate marketingstrategies crafted around the clients specific needs, we don't do'one-size-fits-all'.
  • Working to tight deadlines as a teamand as an individual.
  • A commercial mindset that allows youto understand a business's needs.
  • Including strongmathematical skills as you will be working with budgets and forecasts
  • An ability to deal with business owners and seniorexecutives to convince them of your vision;
  • This shouldinclude strong presentation and public speaking skills.Including thecreation of presentations.
  • The ability to own and lead themeeting environment with presence and authority.
  • Deliveringthe same experience on a video call where required.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of othermarketing channels, including but not limited to PPC, Social and SEO.
  • PPC and Paid Social experience has a particular synergy withaffiliate marketing as part of Paid Media, and would be consideredparticularly desirable.
  • Workable knowledge of spreadsheets.
  • Workable knowledge of word processing.
  • Understanding of influencers and content creators.
  • Amarketing or business degree.
