Abcam is expanding product development of the cell lines portfolio, providing an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Graduate Research Associate to join the Cell Line Expansion Team within Cell Sciences (NPD).


As a Graduate Research Associate in the Cell Line Expansion team, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of top-quality cell line stock, and western lysates, for the Abcam catalogue.

This is a permanent position based in Cambridge (UK) on the Biomedical Campus. This fantastic opportunity is a lab-based role and your daily activities will contribute directly to Abcam's goals and values.

Qualifications:

You will have a BSc or MSc in Biology. Practical experience in culturing mammalian cells is desirable. Ideally you will have experience of working with cell lines in an industrial setting and working under ISO9001.


With excellent attention to detail, you will have good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work, across several projects, and to deadlines.

You will be an enthusiastic team player; self-motivated, independent and able to facilitate open and constructive communication within the Cell Sciences team and other teams within the company.
