About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced researcher to join our team as an Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in Wearable Computing and Sensing. The successful candidate will be an expert in the systems/device aspects of wearables as well as the related machine learning challenges and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to research and teaching in the area of Wearable Computing and Sensing
  • Develop and lead research projects in wearable systems and machine learning
  • Supervise undergraduate and graduate students in wearable computing and sensing
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different subdisciplines in Computer Science and Technology and with other academic disciplines
  • Secure research funding to support their research vision and build a world-class team of researchers
Requirements
  • PhD in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong research credentials in wearable computing and sensing, machine learning, and systems/device aspects
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills
  • Ability to secure research funding and lead research projects
  • Experience in supervising undergraduate and graduate students
