Job Summary

The University of Cambridge is seeking a highly qualified and experienced researcher to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in Wearable Computing and Sensing. We are looking for an expert in the systems/device aspects of wearables and related machine learning challenges and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and teaching in the area of wearable computing and sensing
  • Develop and lead research projects in wearable computing and sensing
  • Supervise undergraduate and graduate students in wearable computing and sensing
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and teaching materials in wearable computing and sensing
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and researchers in wearable computing and sensing

Requirements

  • PhD in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong research credentials in wearable computing and sensing
  • Experience in teaching and supervising students in wearable computing and sensing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to secure research funding and build a research team
