Owen Mumford are looking to hire an enthusiastic Product Packaging & Administrative Coordinator in our Pharmaceutical Service Department Could this be your next role?

**This is a 6 month contract with a view to become permanent.

Scope:

To provide administrative assistance to product packaging and labeling development projects and existing products.

In addition to this, to deliver general OMPS administrative tasks, with the objective of delighting our customers through providing a responsive and efficient service.

To play an active role in sharing information, insights and ideas across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • When requested by the customer or OM Operations, support the design and development of new packaging requests this may include any specific aspect such as IFUs, Pouches, Cartons, Regulatory Tags and Training Aids, both within new OMPS development projects and changes to existing product packaging requirements. This action may require liaison with external artwork and design suppliers.
  • To be accountable for the successful delivery of Stage 0 & 1 ('Prerequisites' and 'Initiation' respectively) of the packaging process. These stages rely on customer interaction (directly or via the Account Manager) and the accurate completion and submission of packaging request forms.
  • Ensure all packaging development and design costs are captured and quoted to the customer (including translation costs and scrap) and advised to the applicable Account Manager, ensuring maximised profits and revenues are achieved, unless agreed otherwise by exception.
  • To forecast packaging requirements with the support of Account Managers. An essential task to ensure customer timelines are met whilst managing the internal input requests.
  • Support customers ensuring queries and requirements are evaluated and satisfactorily met in a timely fashion.
  • Manage the approval of packaging materials process (Customer, OM internal approvals).
  • Communicate with internal departments to inform about upcoming artwork changes.
  • To arrange courier services for any OMPS documentation and customer samples as required.
  • Provide assistance and support to the any OMPS team as agreed with the Head of Account Management when peaks in workload and events such as holidays require the interim management of specific essential activities.
  • To arrange, schedule and organise travel, courier services, meetings and other support as required for the OMPS team as agreed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong administration skills
  • Computer literate with an appetite to learn new computerbased systems.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage complex workstreams.
  • Must have the ability to engage with key stakeholders throughout the business
