This role involves supporting children's development, planning, and implementing age-appropriate activities, and ensuring their well-being. The nursery believe that their goal is to inspire a lifelong love of learning. They believe that each child is unique and deserves the best start in life. They are committed to fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development in a bright and welcoming setting. They provide a nutritious and balanced diet while teaching children about the importance of making healthy food choices.

Hours are 9 am - 3 pm term time only and salary will be pro rata.
Responsibilities

  • The Nursery Practitioner will help create an atmosphere of trust, security, and comfort for all children
  • Design and implement an innovative, ageappropriate curriculum that aligns with modern teaching methods and approaches
  • Establish open and effective communication with parents, providing regular updates on children's progress

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum of a Level 3 full and recognised childcare qualification or equivalent
  • Paediatric First Aid certification
  • Disclosure and Barring Service check
  • Strong knowledge of modern teaching methods and technology integration in education
