ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional educational experiences and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care. Your role will involve collaborating with fellow staff members to create a nurturing environment that promotes learning and development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Child Development and Care: Ensure that all children have access to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Plan and implement engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs of children, including those with Special Educational Needs.
- Safety and Wellbeing: Maintain a safe and secure environment for children, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures. Report any concerns to the designated safeguarding officer.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of children's progress and wellbeing. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development.
- Hygiene Standards: Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the nursery setting.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Promote equality and diversity in all aspects of your work, ensuring that all children feel valued and included.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or an equivalent.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check.
