We are looking for a passionate, friendly and hard-working childcare practitioner to join our nursery team based at Chestnut Nursery School Halbutt Street, RM9 5AA.

**The Role**

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, following a shift pattern. Halbutt Street is open between the hours of 7.45am-6pm

**Requirements**:
The successful applicant will need to have
- Great understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS)
- Strong passion for a child-centred approach to play and learning
- Experience
- **Level 2/3 qualified**:

- Prepared to have lots of fun in the work place (and out at company events)
- Work well within a team
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Excellent organisation skills and time-management

**Key Duties**

As a key person your responsibilities are
- Building relationships with key children and their families
- Provide a stimulating learning environment
- Record and promote development
- Ensuring the well-being and safety of the children
- Support daily routines
- Follow policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality
- Safeguard the children from harm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,048.00-£23,920.00 per year
