Introduction:


Elysium Healthcare - Northern Region are currently looking for a Compliance Officer to join our team to support our services to maintain the highest standards of clinical quality.


Working 37.5 hours a week, you will be working in partnership with senior clinicians to gather, collate and present information as part of the governance process so that this can later be interpreted to identify areas of focus for quality improvement initiatives.


This position will cover Ann House and Gregory House, if you consider yourself to be passionate, are meticulous with regard to attention to detail and able to organise your time effectively this would be an ideal role.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining an effective filing system
  • Participating in the Elysium Healthcare appraisal process
  • Maintaining up to date mandatory training records as required
  • To attend meetings relevant to the department, and internal / external training events as and
- when required.

  • To take personal responsibility for ensuring the work practices and the environment meet the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work legislation and report all deficits to
- management

  • To produce reports, compile action plans and take minutes of meetings when required in accordance with the needs of the service, audit compliance and tracking
  • To review incidents, investigation reports and coordinate lessons learnt sharing across the services
  • To support formulation and review of risk assessments

To be successful as a Compliance Lead, you'll need

  • Experience of working in a similar environment and/or role
  • Administration Qualification (NVQ Level 2 or above) is desirable
  • Experience of working within a compliance administration role in mental health services is desirable
  • Clinical healthcare experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Minute taking experience
  • Excellent IT and data analysis skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills
