We are looking for an Assetand Investment Accountant to come and join our team based inPreston. As an Accountant for Assets & Investments, you willprovide first class insights and reporting in relation to actualand expected performance of the Group's non-social housing. Thisinvolves understanding actual operational performance at schemelevel with a strong focus on improving operating margin andfinancial appraisal of schemes using forward looking appraisals toforecast scheme performance that capture the impact of operationalas well as strategic decisions such as investment or disposal ofassets.

You will prepare managementaccounts, business plans and reports that provide transparencyaround current and expected performance of non-social homes, over4000 properties across the UK.

This role isbased from our office in Preston however the team have fullyembraced hybrid working.

Pleasenote this is a fixed term position until February2025.

You will have relevantaccounting qualifications or QBE (CIMA/ACA or ACCA)  withexperience of accounting for actual performance including journalpostings, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis andcontributing towards preparing forecasts and business plans.Ideally you will also have experience in developing, reviewing andupdating detailed forecasts as well as financial appraisalmodels.

On top of good technical accountingskills we are looking for a strong communicator and a confidentteam player, you will have the ability to engage with seniorstakeholders within the business and build relationships.
