We are seeking an experienced Asset Accountant to join our team in Preston. As an Asset Accountant, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights and reporting on the performance of our non-social housing assets. This involves analyzing actual and expected performance, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to optimize operating margins and financial returns.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing management accounts, business plans, and reports that provide transparency around current and expected performance of our non-social housing assets.
  • Developing and reviewing detailed forecasts and financial appraisal models to inform investment and disposal decisions.
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders to build relationships and communicate financial insights and recommendations.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Accountant who can bring a strong technical accounting background and a passion for financial analysis and reporting. You will have a proven track record of working in a similar role, with experience in accounting for actual performance, journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and forecasting.
