Programme Co-ordinator - Swindon

Summary

***INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY, PLEASE***

We're looking for a Programme Co-ordinator to join our fundraising team on a 24-month contract. You'll play a critical role in the Fundraising Growth programme: an internal change programme that will strengthen and scale fundraising capabilities across the National Trust so that we can create a step-change in our fundraising income - essential to delivering the Trust’s new 2035 strategy.

What it's like to work here

The Fundraising team is ambitious and dedicated to making things happen, playing a key role in enabling the National Trust to deliver its purpose.

As this is a national role, there is flexibility on your contractual place of work. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other National Trust places. We’ll talk about this in more detail at interview, but you should expect to be at a National Trust site for 40–60% of your working week.

What you'll be doing

Working closely with the Programme Management Team on the Fundraising Growth Programme, you’ll be a key contact across the programme, supporting the coordination of project and board meetings, communicating key updates and submitting reports on the risk and compliance of the programme to the central Project & Programmes Management Office.

You’ll provide key administrative support to the Head of Fundraising Transformation and the Communications Manager, adhering to the strategic communication plan.

Key to this role will be collaborative and flexible working across workstreams. You’ll build relationships, share knowledge, co-ordinate stakeholders and identify efficiencies. There will be an opportunity to develop and handle new project management processes as well as collect and analyse information to support projects and strategic initiatives.

Who we're looking for

You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached. You don't need to have all the knowledge, skills and experience listed in the role profile; this is just to provide a full picture of what’s possible in this role. We'd love to hear from you if you have:
  • Practical experience of providing support to projects and programmes including management processes, administration and systems.?
  • Experience of collating, maintaining, analysing and preparing data to provide reports to stakeholders.
  • Experience of utilising written and verbal communication methods.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.?
  • Ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Confidence with diary management and organising face-to-face meetings.?
  • Ability to work within a team, build relationships and share ideas.
  • IT skills, experienced with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and file management.
