About The Role

This is a temporary position until 29/06/2025

To celebrate Taliesin Arts Centre’s 40th Anniversary we are undertaking a number of exciting creative projects focused on increasing engagement with students and young audiences under 26 (including children and families) co-funded by Swansea University, Arts Council of Wales’ Create fund, and Film Hub Wales’ Film Exhibitors Fund.

To support a programme of work focusing on community decision-making, and audience-led programming, the Coordinator will play a key role, providing the structure and day-to-day delivery and support crucial to the success of the project.

Assisting the Community Engagement Associate and other Taliesin Arts Centre colleagues, this role will implement a project of creative engagement (including the delivery of the Cynhyrchwyr Taliesin Producers young decision-making group), supporting the recruitment of participants, working with internal and external partners to reach new audiences and promote the project outputs. This role will provide operational and planning support, coordinating finance and evaluation measures, and act as a point of contact for the project.

Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
