Are you ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role? We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Cashier on a 9-month fixed-term contract. As an Interim Cashier, you will play a crucial role in reconciling high volume bank accounts and ensuring accurate processing of payments. Your attention to detail and ability to investigate and resolve adjusting items will be essential in maintaining the bank account within our Financial Policy Manual. You will have the opportunity to communicate regularly with payment teams, providing advice and discussing actions required for accurate resolution. Your feedback to our Global Center of Excellence (GCoE) counterparts will contribute to achieving accurate processing and help manage the overall maintenance of our bank accounts. Reporting to the Team Leader, and working as part of a dedicated cashiering teamCreate ledgers for all bank accounts within remit and prepare bank reconciliation agreed to bank statements on a daily basis.Daily audit of the cash book reports and suspense accountsAnalyse and resolve all outstanding items and adjustmentsLiaise with internal stakeholders, to update on queries and cash postingsCreate, process and log outward paymentsSeek approval from the bank mandate signatoriesLiaise with the bankMaintain accurate records for all bank accounts managedMonth end reconciliationWorking to deadlines and highlight any issues with the Team LeaderLiaison with the auditorsAbout YouEducated to GCSE standard or equivalentPrevious banking experience, specifically with manual reconciliations, is preferable.Ideally a minimum of 6 months finance experienceGood understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication skills.Ability to work to strict deadlines.Compensation and benefitsOn top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
