Overview:

**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate closely with the Team Leader
- Creating ledgers for all bank accounts within your responsibility
- Prepare daily bank reconciliations that align with bank statements.
- Conduct daily audits of system cash book reports
- Review and resolve outstanding items in suspense accounts, working closely with relevant teams, business areas and branches to clear balances.
- Process and log payments, ensuring appropriate approval from the bank signatories.
- Liaise with the company's bank
- Maintain accurate records
- Foster open and effective communication channels with key business area contacts, ensuring smooth collaboration and timely resolution of any issues.
- Prepare month-end reconciliations
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external auditors
Qualifications:
- Six months finance experience, ideally including manual reconciliations- Excellent communication skills- Good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel- Ability to work to strict deadlines- Professional in manner and presentation- Sound customer service skills- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally- Analytical problem solving approach- Takes initiative has a ‘can do’ attitude- Results driven- Eligibility to work in the UK
