Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the Team Leader, and working as part of a dedicated cashiering team
- Create ledgers for all bank accounts within remit and prepare bank reconciliation agreed to bank statements on a daily basis.
- Daily audit of the cash book reports and suspense accounts
- Analyse and resolve all outstanding items and adjustments
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, to update on queries and cash postings
- Create, process and log outward payments
- Seek approval from the bank mandate signatories
- Liaise with the bank
- Maintain accurate records for all bank accounts managed
- Month end reconciliation
- Working to deadlines and highlight any issues with the Team Leader
- Liaison with the auditors

Qualifications:

- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Previous banking experience, specifically with manual reconciliations, is preferable.
- Ideally a minimum of 6 months finance experience
- Good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
