A new opportunity has arisen for a Development & Sales Accountant FTC to join our driven and dynamic Development Finance team.

In this role you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of financial services for the Development and Sales activities of the L&Q Group.

Reporting to the Development Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of financial services for the Development and Sales activities of the L&Q Group.

 

The main duties of the role will include:

 

To produce monthly reconciliations and notes to the financial statements, ensuring that financial and accounting records are accurately reflected in the accounting systems. To act as a financial lead for your projects in supporting Development and the business through the governance process. Business partner with our internal stakeholders and Joint Venture partners to ensure accurate project appraisal models and receipt of timely information. To assist in the production of annual statutory financial statements, notes to statements and to liaise with external auditors during interim and annual audits. To assist in the coordination and the production of annual budgets with the relevant budget holders. Provide quarterly forecast of expected outturn and assisting in monitoring their budgets.

 

Your experience must include: 

 

Excellent communication skills with proven business partnering experience Advanced IT skills including Excel and Financial Information Systems Academic & professional qualifications: CCAB qualified / part-qualified Accountant (registered with professional body). Independent working.
