What you'll be doing
Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, you'll lead efforts to drive improved financial outcomes through in-depth analysis and insights into a significant and growing motor claims portfolio. You'll manage key relationships with stakeholders across pricing, actuarial, operational, and finance teams, ensuring collaboration and performance optimisation. This role allows you to own an end-to-end claims analytics function, providing actionable insights to enhance claims performance. You'll manage and develop claims analysts, improve data architecture, and use statistical techniques to identify trends and forecast future performance, delivering consistent reporting to the business and driving strategic actions.
What we're looking for
- A strong background in insurance, with proven experience delivering high-quality analytics.
- Proficiency in working with large datasets, using code and statistical techniques to extract insights and drive decisions.
- Experience managing and developing a team, with a focus on fostering talent and performance.
- A track record of producing accurate, clear, and robust reporting in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate with and influence senior stakeholders across large organisations, driving alignment and strategic action.
- A natural curiosity and willingness to search for answers.
