Position Overview We have an exciting opportunity to join our People & Development (HR) team as a Part time (20 hour) HR (P&D) Assistant on a temporary basis (min. 6 months).
Based in Central London you will coordinate the administrative support primarily for the P&D (HR) Lead & team for all areas of administration across the entire employment life cycle.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Supporting the People & Development Lead / Director with ad hoc admin/ people projects,to support wider business initiatives e.g. employee engagement survey, action planning & talent calibration etc.• Proactively support the People Services Team with employee reporting utilising the HRIS system (Workday) e.g. exit interview reports• Supporting P&D Managers with HR related activities e.g. employee relations support & managing key correspondence• Respond to administrative and HR queries from our employees across UK/ROI stores and Head Office e.g. maternity correspondence etc.• Perform various administrative duties to ensure HR records and administration requirements are in line with compliance and record keeping requirements & digitalisation • Process & manage data to support the P&D team with salary planning actions, involving data accuracy & identify inconsistencies with job profiles e.g. career framework model• Ensure local legal requirements are strictly adhered to, including performing Right to Work checks.• Provide accurate HR information for monthly payroll completion for the people services & payroll team to process• Support the Talent Acquisition team with CV screening for high priority roles as determined by the P&D Lead• Effective skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and able to generate reports and prepare high level presentations for the People & Development Lead• Able to deal with multiple internal & external stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner

Experience, Skills & Knowledge  Experience in an HR Administration role in a fast paced, corporate & retail environment, within a shared / people services model• Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to clearly articulate key messages effectively • Keen eye for detail, excellent organisation skills with a true passion for administration• Effective skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint – must be able to generate reports and coordinate high level presentations for the People & Development Lead• Highly systems literate. Experience in using, maintaining, and reporting from HR systems e.g. Workday, Avature etc• Strong Excel skills including proven capability in VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. Strong Word skills including mail merge• Able to demonstrate a strong customer service ethic• Must have excellent time management skills & ability to manage multiple projects at the same time• Experience providing support in payroll administration• You must have the legal right to live and work in the UK.
