ROLE: Resident Liaison Officer

LOCATION: Brentwood

We are currently looking for dedicated Resident Liaison Officer to work with our leading main contractor in the social housing sector, operating on a planned maintenance project in and around Brentwood. Based on site in Brentwood you will be a vital link between the site team, residents, and clients. You will be working on an planned maintenance social housing refurbishment project, so prior knowledge of this is useful.

We are seeking a Resident Liaison Officer to effectively manage communication between the site team, clients, and residents. This role involves both verbal and written correspondence, with the goal of fostering positive relationships and ensuring all parties are well-informed about necessary work. The position requires handling queries and complaints from residents, facilitating smooth maintenance and construction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep residents updated on project progress, including any schedule changes.
  • Act as the main point of contact, providing a courteous and flexible service to both residents and site staff. Address issues, schedule appointments, manage timelines, and resolve complaints by coordinating with all relevant parties.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents to achieve high client satisfaction. Handle complaints professionally and efficiently to minimize disruption during the project.
  • Assist with Property Condition Audits alongside residents before any work begins.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies, ensuring residents' contact information remains confidential.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Experience as a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) is desirable, with 6-12 months of experience.
  • Essential background in customer service, customer care, or complaints handling.
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ambitious, innovative, and self-motivated.
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driving license and access to own vehicle.
