Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Resident Liaison Officer to join our team at Howells Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing positive relationships with residents in order to provide information and support during refurbishment, maintenance, and major works programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on planned maintenance projects to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver the Decent Homes programme, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Hold a full clean driving licence and own vehicle, with a strong emphasis on safety and responsible driving practices
  • Conduct pre-entry visits and company inductions to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new team members
  • Collect and process tenancy agreements and approval forms in a timely and efficient manner
  • Visit tenants in their homes to provide information and support regarding planned works, ensuring clear communication and transparency
  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing any problems or queries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with neighbourhood housing associations, fostering a collaborative environment
  • Visit properties under refurbishment to advise potential tenants on completion dates and provide updates on the project's progress
  • Attend and chair tenant forum meetings to keep residents informed of works being carried out, ensuring open communication and transparency
