Working Pattern

This is hybrid working based in Solihull with 2 days in the office.

What you’ll do:
Working closely with the Financial Reporting Manager, Management Accountants and Purchase Ledger team to ensure accurate month end preparation and reporting of the management accounts.Calculate and journalise cost of sales deferrals/accruals.Calculate and journalise revenue deferred income/accrued income.Streamline processes within the Management Accounting Team.Take ownership of cost of sales margin analysis, direct expenses, and overheads in the accounts for new entities.Investigate and provide commentary on variances to budget.Play a significant role in integrating new acquisitions into the finance reporting structure, which may involve some travel.Support key aspects of statutory and financial accounting processes.Reconcile intercompany accounts and collaborate with management accountants from other entities.Perform balance sheet reconciliationsUndertake period-end duties and assist with audit preparation.
Location / Office / Culture

The position is in Solihull, within a team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable professionals, supported by excellent management. The office provides high flexibility, allowing remote work up to 3 days a week.

What We Are Looking For
Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant or finalist.Previous experience in a Management Accounts role or similar is essential.Experience working with acquisitions is beneficial but not essentialExperience with Sage200 is also beneficialStrong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex data.Good understanding of accounting principlesAbility to complete complex tasks and projects quickly, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround.Experience in a people-centric business is advantageous
