    Job Description

    Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve significant revenue growth, aiming to double revenue in national, independent, and retail stores.
Own the P&L responsibility for the sales division, ensuring financial targets are met and profitability is optimized.Work on strategies to grow retail presence through concessions, existing stores, and a flagship store in the next 18 months.Ensure each retailer and customer aligns with the brand positioning.

Ownership of Sales Budget & Growth:

Increase the number of doors and shelf space, closely monitoring performance metrics.Track and monitor gross margin and contribution margin per customer to ensure alignment with the budget.Ensure timely and effective servicing of customers, conducting regular calls and tracking growth.Negotiate contracts with both large and small customers, ensuring business objectives are met.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

Conduct white space analysis of existing retailers to increase shelf space.Perform white space and competitor benchmarking before entering any new retailer to ensure appropriate stock allocation.Stay abreast of market trends and industry changes, adapting sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the B2B2C and D2C offline spaces, focusing on acquiring and retaining key customers.Expand market presence by increasing penetration with current partners and identifying white space for product expansion and growth.Find new distribution channels for licensed products.Explore new ways to grow the independent business.Open doors with premium retailers.Identify new customers for categories.

Project Management and Reporting:

Oversee various projects within the sales division, ensuring timely delivery and effective implementation.Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and the board of directors, making commercial recommendations based on market analysis and performance metrics.Work cross-functionally with: Marketing: ensuring all collateral and POS for offline activities are delivered on time.Merchandise: ensuring accurate forecasts and working with the team for exclusives and newness.Brand.com: ensuring no discounting conflicts between channels.

Team Management:

Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.Identify skill gaps and recruit top talent to build a high-performing sales team capable of driving revenue growth.
