Harnham are working with a small but growing Germany-based business on a Business Development Director - where you'll play a key role in delivering and selling market research. With ambitious growth plans, you'll dive into diverse projects to help them achieve their goals.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Lead various market research studies, primarily ad hoc, from start to finish.
  • Develop materials, analyze data, report findings, and present to clients.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team for survey programming, fieldwork, and data analysis.
  • Monitor financial aspects of projects, ensuring they are cost-effective and profitable.
  • Manage end-to-end business development from cold lead generation through to debriefing clients.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, understanding their business issues and how we can help.
  • Collaborate with the Research team and other departments to maintain the new business pipeline.
  • Promote the company's capabilities to new and existing clients.
  • Prepare proposals based on client needs.


YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Business fluency in the German language as a minimum.
  • Proven track record in selling market research services, preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of the German pharmaceutical
  • Ability to understand and address customer needs.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Experience with various research methodologies.
  • Outstanding communication skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ideally, a strong commercial network within the pharmaceutical industry.
