About the role

  • Location: Blackburn
  • Contract: 12 months fixed term
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, fully office based
  • Salary: 29,500 per annum
  • Benefits: 30 days including BH (you can use them when you like), free parking, company discounts, onsite cafe plus more

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising and supporting on employee relations issues, including absence management, performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievances for managers at all levels.
  • Assisting with formal disciplinary matters, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies.
  • Participating in TUPE and redundancy matters, providing expert guidance to the business and employees.
  • Using HR data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensuring compliance with current employment laws.
  • Working to enhance the efficiency of the HR function and processes.
  • Updating policies and procedures in collaboration with HR Business Partners and the Head of HR.
  • Handling ad-hoc HR projects and other duties as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

  • CIPD qualified with a desire to advance.
  • Minimum of 12 months HR experience.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Proficiency in IT applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven experience in employee relations with strong case management skills.
  • Experience on SAP is beneficial but not essential.
